Improvisation for Writing
Stella Duffy, founder of The Chaosbaby project will teach a two-day writing workshop, using theatre and improvisation techniques to break barriers, silence the inner critic, and suggest new ways to write. Ideal for theatre-makers who want to write more, writers who are stuck, and anyone frightened of the blank page.
Stella has worked in improvisation for over 25 years, is an Associate Artist with Improbable, Artistic Director of Shaky Isles Theatre, and a freelance theatre director. She has also published 13 novels, 10 plays and over 50 short stories. Two of her novels were longlisted for the Orange Prize, she has twice won Stonewall Writer of the Year, and won the 2002 CWA Short Story Dagger Award for her story Martha Grace.
